Painter I Nyoman Sukaya was born and grown up on Western Part in the greenery side of Bali called Penebel, Tabanan. Since he spent most of his childhood in the farming land it is likely affected his way of painting. Most of his works illustrate the beauty of Bali’s scenery that tells us about the rhythm and the balance of a secluded area in Bali. There are very much things we can enjoy from the works, such as the silent environment, the idyllic temple, rice paddy field near the beach and the village religious ritual that become the vein of Balinese life.
